The host of the show brings a understated Genius that is rarely seen in the entertainment business. This week D.I.R.T. features LINK (Lincoln Browder) who like a lot of R&B artist started out singing in church but found he had a talent for songwriting. After writing the hit "My Body" for the R&B supergroup LSG, Link was offered his own recording contract with Relativity Records.[1] His 1998 debut album, Sex Down, spawned one Top 40 hit single in the US, "Whatcha Gonna Do?" (#23 Billboard Hot 100, #15 US Billboard R&B). The track peaked at #48 in the UK Singles Chart in November 1998. In addition a second charting hit was issued, "I Don't Wanna See", which reached #43 on the US R&B chart and #25 on the Hot Singles Sales chart.
D.I.R.T. is also excited to have Big Tuck (Cedric Leejuan Tuck), who is a pioneer in the Dallas rap game, overcoming the odds to achieve the notoriety that many artist crave.
The versatile artist has a lineup of collaborations featuring Slim Thug, Gucci Mane, Lil Boosie, Huey, Bun B, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, Erykah Badu, Play-N-Skillz, Mr. Lee, Big Tyme, and many more. Continuing to represent the South with his grind at top notch, this freight-train of a rapper proceeds to lead the way for fellow Southern artists without an end in sight. On October 5, 2010 Big Tuck will release his newest mix tape featuring his new single, “Can I Get a Witness” backed by JIN Entertainment and available at retailers nationwide.
